A proud Mohawk from the Turtle Clan, Brandi resides in her home community of Six Nations of the Grand River and values her strong connection to her culture, community, and the important work of supporting First Nations organizations and communities. She is a strategic and results-driven Human Resources and Finance professional with more than 15 years of progressive experience in human resources operations, financial management, and organizational leadership.
As the Director of Human Resources, Brandi works collaboratively to support OFNTSC’s strategic priorities and foster a culturally aligned, positive, and effective workplace. Her experience includes HRMS administration, payroll and finance processes, employee engagement, workplace wellness and safety, systems oversight, and strategic reporting. Prior to her leadership role in Human Resources, she held progressive positions in finance, including Finance Controller, Corporate Project Analyst, and Finance Officer. This experience has provided her with a strong understanding of both the people and financial aspects of organizational operations.
Brandi is passionate about creating workplaces where employees feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed. She is a member of the Human Resource Professional Association. She is committed to continued professional development in leadership, workplace health and safety, employee wellness, and human resources.
Outside of work, she is a proud wife, mother of three and grandmother to two grandsons. She enjoys playing competitive fastball and volleyball and is an enthusiastic Toronto Blue Jays fan. She especially enjoys staying active, spending time with her family, and cheering on her favourite team
