The Engineer In Training (EIT) is tasked with operating under the direct oversight of the Manager of Engineer Services to aid in the Engineering Department's efforts to provide technical advisory services for Ontario First Nations.

Reporting to the Manager of Engineering Services, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering engineering and infrastructure projects that support the needs of First Nations communities. The Project Manager oversees projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Under the guidance of the Director of Operations, the Project Administrator will provide administrative and project coordination support to the Housing team, infrastructure projects, CMHC-funded initiatives and other technical service contracts. Under the guidance of the Infrastructure Supervisor, the intern will shadow housing inspection services to gain hands-on experience within Indigenous communities. The internship will involve job shadowing, exposure to housing programs, and guidance to obtaining Ontario Building Code certification for the future as a building inspector.
