Welcome!
The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) welcomes you
to the OFNTSC Student Classic Golf Fundraiser! Each year it is the OFNTSC’s goal to
raise funds to support First Nation students, in post-secondary, to pursue education
within the Science and Technology fields.

Each year the OFNTSC presents the awards to First Nations students located
throughout Ontario. Students selected to receive the awards receive an invitation
to attend the Student Classic Golf Fundraiser. We are thrilled to welcome the
students at this year’s event!

The OFNTSC would like to acknowledge all of our sponsors for their kind donations
to the Student Classic Fundraising initiative. Without their support the Student
Classic Fundraiser could not be possible! On behalf of the OFNTSC and this years’
student award winners we thank you for your generosity!

Rules and Regulations

GOLF SCRAMBLE RULESFour Person Scramble Format
1. A scramble means that all team members tee off on each hole and then
decide which tee shot they like the best and mark the spot with a tee or
ball marker.
2. The other team members pick up their balls and place them within one
club length (no closer to the hole) of the marked spot. Each team member
hits their next shot from the chosen spot. This procedure is followed on
every shot for the remainder of the hole, including putts. The ball should
be marked on the putting green.
4. Putts need to be placed within 3 inches of the marked spot (no closer to
the hole). The first ball to go in the hole is counted for the team score.
5. Men tee off from the white tees and women from the red tees.
6. All R.C.G.A and The Greens at Renton rules are in effect.
7. In the event of a tie a winner will be determined by retrogression.
8. Please turn scorecards in to the Pro Shop. Prizes will be given at the end
of the tournament.

GOLF ETIQUETTE:
1. Please rake all marks made in sand bunkers. Please leave the rakes next
to the bunkers.
2. Please do not hold up the group behind you by looking for lost balls.
Please keep up with the group ahead.
3. Do not play until the players in front of you are out of range.
4. Please repair any ball marks left on the green.
5. Enjoy the day!

someone else hits a shot which finishes closer to the object.
