Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) Installation Training

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) will be providing Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) Training in First Nations across Ontario in the coming weeks. The training sessions will take place over four days and will include in-class and on-site instruction training in a First Nation.

The training will be divided into two parts. The first section is held in the classroom where you will learn about HRV systems; how they work, what is involved in designing them, installing them and how to maintain them. The second part is hands-on.  You will: install an HRV system, learn how to maintain it and do basic repairs.

All trainees are asked to have some prior knowledge of home building techniques and a keen interest in learning about HRV systems.
