Emergency Management - Phase Three: Testing Your Emergency Plan

The Emergency Management Service is announcing the dates of Phase Three: How to Test Your First Nation Emergency Plan. The objective of Phase Three is to:

  • Introduction of First Nation participants to Incident Management System
  • Introduction of First Nation Exercise Program
  • Opportunity to test  First Nation master emergency response plans through simulated tabletop exercises
  • Providing First Nations with resources and sample documents

Training workshops will be offered across the Province of Ontario at these locations:

Fort Frances – La Place Rendez-Vous - July 30, 31 and Aug 1, 2, 2013

Sault Ste. Marie – Algoma Water Tower Inn and Suites - August 20 - 22, 2013

Rama First Nation – Casino Rama – Sept. 24-26, 2013

Thunder Bay – Valhalla Inn – Oct. 8 – 10, 2013

London – Four Points Sheraton – November 5 – 7, 2013

In addition to the Phase Three: How to Test Your First Nation Emergency Plan, the Emergency Management Service will also be offering two Phase One and Two Review Workshops. The Phase One and Two Review Workshop will be offered at these locations:

Niagara Falls – OFNTSC Annual Conference – Sept 3-5, 2013

Sioux Lookout – Sunset Inn and Suites – Oct. 22-24, 2013
