The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) will be delivering two training sessions for Part 9: The House Building Envelope. The two training sessions will be held:
The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) will be providing Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) Training in First Nations across Ontario in the coming weeks. The training sessions will take place over four days and will include in-class and on-site instruction training in a First Nation.
Assembly of First Nations National Chief, Shawn A-in-chut Atleo and Mike Holmes of the Holmes Group, are pleased to announce the selection criteria and the application process for their joint pilot project. The pilot project will see a First Nation in Ontario region selected to design, plan and implement building activities that are based on green and sustainable practices.

The OFNTSC will be providing R-2000 training during the week of May 26-27, 2009. The location of this training will be at the Saugeen First Nation Training Centre. The course is available to all individuals who are interested in becoming R-2000 Certified. The course offered is the first course in becoming a R-2000 professional.
The Canadian Government’s February 2009 Federal Budget included funding for specific on-reserve housing initiatives under Canada’s Economic Action Plan (CEAP). The funding is intended to stimulate the Canadian economy.
The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is pleased to announce R-2000 Training for First Nations. Courses offered will focus on Plans Evaluation and Inspetor/Air-tightness. As a delivery agent the OFNTSC, is the liaison between First Nations/Tribal Councils and Natural Resources Canada to provide training for the R-2000 intiative.&nbs
