Ontario First Nations Emergency Preparedness and Response Workshop

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) in partnership with the Ontario Native Fire Fighters Society (ONFFS) will be providing a workshop on Emergency Preparedness and Response. The two and a half day course will train an individual on emergency management and emergency response. The Workshop will also cover risk assessment identification, emergency response template and supplementary materials. 

This workshop will be taking place at the Valhalla Inn in Thunder Bay from May 3-5, 2011 starting at 8:30am. There are a maximum 35 spots available for this workshop.
 
One person from each First Nation in Northern Ontario  will be sponsored to participate. Representatives from Tribal Councils are also encouraged to attend. The workshop will cover the costs of accommodation (room and taxes only) meals, and travel. The registration deadline for this workshop is Monday, April 18, 2011.
