Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) provides First Nations in Ontario with Operation & Maintenance (O&M) subsities for departmentally funded capital assets on reserves. This is based on a departmental published document the “Cost Reference Manual” (CRM) . The CRM continues to be the bases for INAC in allocating O&M funds to First Nations communities.
