Liquid Fuel Handling Code Upgrade Training

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is informing First Nation fuel handlers that there have been changes made to the Liquid Fuel Handling Code (LFHC) in Ontario.  The changes to the LFHC affect all who hold Petroleum Mechanic Helper (PMH, PM3, PM2, PM1) certificate holders or higher.

The Ontario First Nation Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is pleased to acknowledge the support Wabigoon Lake First Nation, and Wabigoon Lake Community Store gave the OFNTSC Fuel Systems Management service for producing a video that will benefit all First Nations for years to come.

Fuel Systems Management Training sessions just announced!

The OFNTSC's Fuel Systems Management Service (FSMS) is announcing three new training sessions taking place from August, to September of 2014. The FSMS aims to work with First Nations to provide training for fuel spill response, bulk fuel handling techniques, legislative requirements, receiving and dispensing, and health and safety awareness. The FSMS will be held in London, Dryden and Sault Ste. Marie. See below for more detail on when the sessions will be ocuring.
