Webinar: What's Fair in Water and Wastewater Service Pricing

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is sharing the chance to view a webinar being provided by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) - Community Infrastructure Partnership Program. The Webinar titled "What's Fair in Water and Wastewater Service Pricing" will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 2pm (EST). The webinar will be presented in English only.

20th Annual OFNTSC Student Classic Registration Now Open!

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is pleased to announce the 20th Annual OFNTSC Student Classic will be taking place Friday, June 26, 2015 at 9am at the The Greens at Renton Golf Course in Simcoe, ON. Student Achievement Awards and Derrick Kamanga Memorial Award applications now available

The Ontario First Nation Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is announcing that the Student Achievement Awards (SAA) and the Derrick Kamanga Memorial Award (DK) are now available for download. The SAA support First Nations students who are pursing education in the science and technology fields in post-secondary education. The DK award is awarded to a First Nation student who is pursuing education in the engineering field at the post-secondary level.

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is pleased to announce the 20th OFNTSC Conference and Tradeshow will be taking place August 25 – 27, 2015 at the Toronto Hilton Airport.  Registration for delegates and exhibitors is now open.

Each year the the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) supports First Nations and Metis students who are pursuing post secondary education in science and technology fields. The OFNTSC presents four awards each year for the Student Achievement Awards and one Derrick Kamanga Memorial Award. The OFNTSC is pleased announced the recipients of the 2014 Student Achievement Awards and Derrick Kamanga Memorial Award.

OFNTSC's Emergency Planning Service Announces eight new training sessions

The OFNTSC's Emergency Planning Service is pleased to announce eight new training sessions aimed at First Nations to help create, refine, and analyze their respective emergency management plans.  Over the next 8 months the Emergency Planning Service will be providing training in communities across Ontario. Communities include Dryden, Fort Frances, Sioux Lookout, Sault Ste. Marie, Rama and Thunder Bay.

All Tribal Council & Large/Unaffiliated First Nations Meeting UPDATED

UPDATE: The OFNTSC's room block for the ATCLUFNM is now sold out.  Delegates who are registering now to attend the meeting will be responsible for finding their own accommodations. 

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) will be holding its All Tribal Council and Large/Unaffiliated First Nations Meeting (ATCLUFNM) from September 10-11, 2014 at the Water Tower Inn In Sault Ste. Marie.

Annual Sudent Achievement Awards/Derrick Kamanga Memorial Award

Each year the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) supports First Nation students in their pursuit of educational attainment.  The OFNTSC achieves this by offering the Annual Student Achievement Awards and the Derrick Kamanga Memorial Award. 

The Annual Student Achievement Awards support First Nation students who are pursuing careers in the science and technology fields.  The Achievement Awards consist of a $1000.00 award, a plaque, and an invitation to attend the OFNTSC’s Annual Conference.
