OFNTSC sponsors the 46th Annual Little Native Hockey League Tournament

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is proud to support the 46th Annual Little Native Hockey League Tournament from March 13 -17, 2017 in Mississauga, ON.  The OFNTSC would like to extend its congratulations to this year’s host community of Moose Cree First Nation for another great tournament. 

2017 Student Achievement and Derrick Kamanga Memorial Award applications Now Available

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is releasing the 2017 applications for the Student Achievement and Derrick Kamanga Memorial Awards.  Each year the OFNTSC supports five awards  for First Nations/Metis students pursuing post secondary education in science, technology and engineering fields of study.

A FIRST NATIONS LED APPROACH TO ENDING THE FIRST NATIONS WATER CRISIS IN ONTARIO

Niagara Falls, ON (October 18, 2016) – Ontario First Nations are gathering in Niagara Falls, ON today at the First Nation Water Crisis Summit & Symposium to discuss a First Nations Led Approach (FNLA) to ending Boil Water Advisories (BWAs) in Ontario First Nations.  More than 60 Chiefs from across Ontario are coming together to ensure water resources are protected while also ensuring sustainable drinking water for future generations.

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation has released one Requests for Proposals (RFP). The released RFP relates to policy development services. OFNTSC supports the Little Native Hockey League Hockey Tournament 2016

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is a proud supporter of the Little Native Hockey League Tournament (LNHL) taking place in Mississauga, Ontario from March 14-17, 2016. The OFNTSC provides technical advisory services to the 133 First Nations and the 16 tribal councils in Ontario. Each year the OFNTSC engages First Nations and tribal councils on water, housing, fire safety, emergency management, operations and maintenance, environment, engineering and fuel systems management. 

Student Co-op Profile: Valerie Bergman

Each year the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation engages First Nation students in post-secondary education to participate in a work placement co-op. Our second co-op student in our Thunder Bay Service Centre is Valerie Bergman, she is currently enrolled at Confederation College in Civil Engineering.  Bergman is expected to graduate in April of 2017.
