Student Achievement and Derrick Kamanga Memorial Awards

Each year the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) supports First Nations and Metis students who are pursuing post-secondary education in science and technology fields. The OFNTSC presents three awards each year for the Student Achievement Awards and one Derrick Kamanga Memorial Award. The OFNTSC is pleased announced the recipients of the 2017 Student Achievement Awards and Derrick Kamanga Memorial Award.

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is proud to support the 46th Annual Little Native Hockey League Tournament from March 13 -17, 2017 in Mississauga, ON.  The OFNTSC would like to extend its congratulations to this year’s host community of Moose Cree First Nation for another great tournament. 

2017 Student Achievement and Derrick Kamanga Memorial Award applications Now Available

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is releasing the 2017 applications for the Student Achievement and Derrick Kamanga Memorial Awards.  Each year the OFNTSC supports five awards  for First Nations/Metis students pursuing post secondary education in science, technology and engineering fields of study.

A FIRST NATIONS LED APPROACH TO ENDING THE FIRST NATIONS WATER CRISIS IN ONTARIO

Niagara Falls, ON (October 18, 2016) – Ontario First Nations are gathering in Niagara Falls, ON today at the First Nation Water Crisis Summit & Symposium to discuss a First Nations Led Approach (FNLA) to ending Boil Water Advisories (BWAs) in Ontario First Nations.  More than 60 Chiefs from across Ontario are coming together to ensure water resources are protected while also ensuring sustainable drinking water for future generations.

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation has released one Requests for Proposals (RFP). The released RFP relates to policy development services. Details of the tenders can be found in the attachments below.  If you have an inquiry regarding the bid opportunities, please contact the individual(s) listed in the proposal forms.  All general inquiries can be forwarded to smetatawabin@ofntsc.org.  All proposals received after the submission date will not be considered.
