Petroleum Mechanic Helper (PMH) Training

The OFNTSC is offering Petroleum Mechanic Helper (PMH) training in Thunder Bay on February 4th – 5th, 2010. 
 
PMH training is an entry level course for Petroleum Mechanic Certification, PMH certificate holders are allowed without supervision, to maintain pumps, including replacing nozzles, spouts, hoses, breakaways, filters and belts; and to assess, contain and clean up spills and leaks relating to fuel handling.  A Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) certification theory exam and practical assessment will be administered at the end of the course.  This training will take place over 2 days and participants must score 75% on the exam in order to receive a passing grade.  The training is most suitable for individuals working in the liquid fuels industry, petroleum tank systems, dispensing systems and equipment.
