Emergency Preparedness and Response Workshop

Location: Thunder Bay, ON - Victoria Inn

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) in partnership with the Ontario Native Fire Fighters Society (ONFFS) will be providing workshops on Emergency Preparedness and Response to Southern and Central Ontario First Nations.

The two and a half day course will train individuals on emergency  management and emergency response. The Workshop will also cover risk assessment identification, emergency response template and supplementary materials. 

One representatives from each First Nation in sorthern Ontario will be sponsored to participate. Representatives from Tribal Councils are also encouraged to attend. The workshop will cover the costs of accommodation (room and taxes only) meals, and travel.

The OFNTSC client base consists of all 134 Ontario First Nations, including 16 Tribal Councils, six Large Nations and 18 Unaffiliated First Nations.
