14th Annual AWWAO General Assembly & Training Conference

On behalf of the Aboriginal Water and Wastewater Association of Ontario, it is our distinct pleasure to extend this invitation to you, the First Nation treatment plant personnel, to participate in our 14th Annual General Assembly and Training Conference. This event will be held at the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel and Conference Centre, 6755 Fallsview Boulevard, Niagara Falls, ON during the week of October 6-10, 2008, in conjunction with Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation Technical Conference and Trade Show.

The AWWAO will gladly sponsor one operator per First Nation. Sponsorship includes meals, accommodations, and travel; however, if you wish to send two (2) operators, the First Nation must cover the costs of the second operator. All pertinent information is included in this package. The AWWAO will be working in partnership with the Ontario Environmental Training bConsortium. OETC will administer the Certification Examination at the end of the week. If the operator will be taking the certification exam at the end of the training week he/she will need
to fill-in the OETC forms with the necessary fees for processing.

We ask that you send the AWWAO Registration & Fees in addition the OETC Forms & Fees directly to the Aboriginal Water & Wastewater Association of Ontario. Be advised that the accommodations will be made upon receipt of the operators faxed in completed registration forms to the Association. Registration Deadline is August 15, 2008. The OFNTSC client base consists of all 134 Ontario First Nations, including 16 Tribal Councils, six Large Nations and 18 Unaffiliated First Nations.
