CRTP Service continues to achieve excellence!

The Circuit Rider Training Program (CRTP) delivers intensive training to First Nation water and wastewater plant operators as well as bulk fuel handlers in First Nations.  This essential service of the OFNTSC provides training opportunities to over 90 First Nations in Ontario.

Training for Water and Wastewater plant operators can be provided to Operators-In-Training, up to Class 4.  For CRTP: Fuel training can be provided for Petroleum Mechanic Three (PM3) and Petroleum Mechanic Helper (PMH) and emergency spill response.

Last year alone CRTP: Water conducted over 200 training visits to First Nations throughout the province.  And a total of 733 Continuing education units were earned by First Nation’s operators. CRTP: Fuel went to over 20 communities to deliver training. CRTP: Fuel also provided communities with large and small spill kits to assist in spill emergency response.

Think about getting training?  Contact Richard Shawanda, Senior Trainer, CRTP: Water at rshawanda@ofntsc.org or Doug Stuart, Fuel Systems Management Trainer at dstuart@ofntsc.org

Each year more and more First Nations continue to use the best training service for First Nations, by First Nations, to achieve self-determination.
